GOLDEN BROWN MUFFIN

Wanted to try if our LG conventional microwave oven is really able to bake cakes as claim by them. Sharon Tan had been very nice to provide me with the ingredients for baking the muffins (as i need not spend money if happen that the baking did not turn out well. So sweet of her... hee... This is my first attempt in baking and i am praying hard that the microwave oven could allow me to bake cakes... Of course if you are a hard core baker, the oven will be the best options for baking a cake. For us, we wanted to integrated microwave plus oven for convience and the most important reason is to save space for our kitchen.

Here it goes................

Placing the beaten and mixed eggs, butter, flour and water into the muffin cups

Making a mess in the kitchen

Placing the muffins into the microwave oven

Slowly rising...

Still rising.....

Some of the premix overflowing...

I am left with 1mins and 42 seconds....
......TaDa.....

Times up (25 minutes) Golden brown crust ..

Out of 4 muffins, only one that looks like a muffin... opps..hee

Yummy and the sweetness is just nice.. the texture is not dry and while i am baking, the whole kitchen smells of nice baking aroma... Yesh, my LG microwave oven can bake cakes....Yeah.. But i need to practice more as you all can see from the outlook of my muffins. Not presentable...hehe but eatable..
Tips from tan: Fill 3/4 of the premix to the cupcakes as the cakes tend to rise.
Make sure the flour, eggs, butter and water are well mix and beaten so that it could rise nicely.
Thank you tan for the lovely ingredients, i guess i need more in future ar... Thank u in advance first...hee... Will bake for u once i master it ok... Guess u wont dare to eat if my muffins are not lookable ar... hee...
