Little Crystal Angel ....

Went with frog last Thursday to Chinatown to some beads and crystals as he said he wanted to make crystal angel and stars for his colleague who is leaving his company… Think frog had a talent in making such things as he is better in his art and craft…haha... unlike me no talent in art…Frog is sweet to make me a angel too… The angel to protect and bless me... Thank you frog!! So touch… it’s so nice and thoughtful of him… Now I must think of where to place it as my HP doesn’t have the hole to hang all these...so sad….Frog buy me new phone can…..haha….

Annalakshmi Resturant

Met up with Jer, Yimei and Thailan last Wed for dinner… it’s been sometime that we had a gathering….Really really misses them a lot…. … As Yimei is a vegetarian, she recommended us a place for dinner…Its Indian Cuisine but of cos vegetarian…..hehe...The restaurant is very grand and with some Indian god sculpture placed in the restaurant. Vey authentic feel…Yimei told us that we can give any amount for our food that we had eaten as this restaurant is a charity restaurant and we can pay as we wishes too.. For charity purpose…The menu has no price stated on it…Really like the ambience.. Yimei warned us that we must finished up all the food that we had ordered as the people there dun like us to waste food….Plus we must nt talk so loud in the restaurant…..hehe….We really finished up all our food in the end… initially we are quite lost on what to order as we are nt so familiarize with Indian Food… But thanks to Yimei, she recommended some dishes that are very delicious and yummy…The food is really very delicious and it’s quite different from the Indian food that we had eaten outside. Yimei said that the food here is more original….From India…. She said that the boss is a very charitable person and all the workers are volunteers… means they are working for free… Can you image in Singapore there are still people that are willingly to work for free??? And the staffs there are very polite and customer oriented… Think they work for good will ba….Thumb ups for the food here and the staffs working at the restaurant…its really a new place for hangout and dinner… Really had a wonderful and filling nitez with the gals…

In the end, we paid $5 each for the food and Yimei paid $10.... must really go and try the food here as not because we can pay any amount but the food is damn nice and delicious......Yummy!!!

Singapore FireWorks Celebration 2008

Yesterday I and frog went to Marina Bay Floating Gallery to watch the Singapore Fireworks celebration. Frog kena mobilization yesterday afternoon and he was still in camp till 8pm. The fireworks start @ 8.30pm and since I am around in the west area due to my FYP project. I took a cab to frog’s camp and we rush down to see the fireworks. Luckily we are still in time to catch the firework. I am very happy as frog can make it for the fireworks as we had bought the tickets months ago. So sway frog had to go back to his camp today….Furthermore, it’s been raining the whole day and we watched the firework under the rain...erm can say that it is drizzling ba….However as the fireworks started, all of us can't be bother with the rain anymore as the nice and spectacular fireworks make up for it. I am totally immersed by it… Very beautiful……. I must thanks frog for taking all the pictures for me so that I can really enjoy the fireworks performances… He is so sweet….hee………..While watching the fireworks, it brings back memory to me while in HK Disneyland where I and frog had watched our first fireworks performance there….Really hope to go back HK again…….

Although the fireworks performance lasted for about 25mins, we are very glad that we can be there to watch it. Thank you frog for this treat and for making an effort to rush down for this performance. I really enjoy myself!!! :)

Rollerblading @ East Coast

Went to East Coast Park with frog on last Sunday to blade…. It’s quite a challenge to me and frog as this is the first time we blade outdoor. Haiz.. quite a stressful task for me as I just learnt how to blade and not as skillful yet. I am just a beginner…haha .. Think frog can blade better than me and I need more practice… Blading @ east Coast Park is not as easy as blading in the sports hall where our lesson are held….1St of all the road @ east coast had a lot of slope. You need to maintain your balance and most importantly learn to brake…But the best part is I don’t really know where to brake!!! Stress stress…. Blading down the slope is so scary…. As i will feel as i had no control of my speed and fall… Scary…Furthermore, there are lots of ppl there and i need to skate carefully as not to bump onto ppl....Think frog can do better than me… haiz.. so low morale….Think I prefer to cycle than blading..hehe….Below are some picts taken by frog ... First Aid Kit

Last Friday I had attended the fire warden training… Received a tiny mini first aid kit during the training as I had answered a question correctly..It’s something like a gift… So cute and compact. Will carry this around with me as it is so light and carries all the necessities. So happy… :)

Busy....busy.....busy......

It’s been a while I start to blog again…. Not much stuffs to updates.. School starts again on last Tuesday… but… I and my classmates had skipped classed…haha cos our engine not started yet...still in holiday mood...My lesson is every Monday and Tuesday….Really sian lo…..haiz…Just attended the lectures yesterday and I dun even know what the lecturer is teaching… so demoralizing... How to get good grades like tat…. Shake head….. I really hope this will all be over soon… Endure!!!!!! I can do it one!!! I need to put in more effort in my FYP too as my Prof ask me if I had achieved any results….Erm…OMG… no results yet…This time really die liao…Think I am too slack for the past 2 mths… I really regret it….We need to submit my FYP report on 26th October 2008… I must go school every sat to do my FYP. Engine must really get started!!! Vrooomm….Vroooom….

Axioo Pico

Finally, I and frog had bought our mini tiny laptop. We bought AXIOO Pico that weighs only 1.2kg (including the 3 cell battery). They only had pearl white in color…..no black in color… My previous Laptop is NEC and weighs 2.8kg… So heavy rtg…haha….We had chosen this over the Eeepc 1000H and the MSI WIN due to the price and the weight. AXIOO Pico cost only $748 while Eeepc cost $888 and MSI WIN cost about eight plus too. The hard disk space (160GB) is also bigger compare to the Eeepc and Win. However, I and frog had encountered some problem with the wireless connection. The lappy can’t detect my house wireless… We were so fed up last Saturday as I and frog keep trouble shooting on what had actually went wrong… We can detect neighboring network but not ours… This is so maddening!!! The next morning we went down to Funan to ask the salesperson what had actually gone wrong to the lappy. We tested out the wireless @ Mac Funan and we could connect to the net. Frog’s laptop can stay connected for about an hour plus and mine stay about half an hour before it gets disconnect. However, it gets reconnect again. Seriously we that that this AXIOO Pico is perfect except that for the wireless problem… We seek help from my brother on the internet issues and he helps us troubleshoot on the sun afternoon. He managed to find our home network…. We are so happy.. Thanks bro… My bro is an IT expert…kekeke…Happy that we managed to find the network but…. It always gets disconnected… This is so argh!!!!! We spent our whole weekend solving problems for the wireless issues…So time consuming and tiring.. Mentally strained… OMg… We are going to take our lappy for servicing and hopefully they can solve our problem… If this problem is solved, my Pico will be a perfect laptop.. I can bring it anywhere and do my FYP on this laptop...So cool…. Yeah!!!! I did use the laptop @ NUS and it connects very well.. Erm so not so sure now on what is the problem… Will try out more and see how it is. The below is the link to the website for the specifications for AXIOO Pico.
